Wild West Pioneers is a city-builder adventure from developer EmpireCraft Studios and publisher Toplitz Productions, released on Steam for Windows on 25 September 2026 as an Early Access title. The store page describes it as leading settlers into the untamed frontier: you build and manage growing settlements, establish production chains and explore the world, following a story of gold rush dreams, dangerous encounters and the search for your family. The publisher's product page frames it as a classic city builder with a modern touch, set against the backdrop of the American West.

The loop has two halves that run at once. Production turns raw resources into finished goods, with chains for food, building materials, tools and luxury goods, and a world map that interconnects multiple settlements so different towns can specialise. Satisfaction is the other half: food and shelter may be enough at first, but a thriving town needs more, and keeping settlers content is what keeps them from leaving and what attracts new arrivals. Citizens can be appointed to roles as mayors and sheriffs, and their perks affect how the town grows. Scouting pushes past the settlement itself, sending Scouts to discover new locations, meet the people who travelled there before you, and find the next place to settle.

The developers describe the Early Access plan as roughly a year, kept flexible, with the current price set lower than the planned full-release price. The launch scope includes upgradable buildings, multiple biomes, a world map linking several settlements, fully simulated settlers, appointable citizen roles and expeditions. The full version is envisioned with new production chains, more advanced buildings and structures, new means of transportation, random events and map variety. Launch week alone brought three hotfixes, including a caravan cost change and repairs to save loading, residents getting stuck and a blocked questline.
