What is Mars Attracts?
Mars Attracts is a park management sim from developer and publisher Outlier, built inside the licensed Mars Attacks™ universe and published on Steam for Windows. You play a Martian park builder running a tourist attraction where the exhibits are humans abducted out of history, and your job is to keep both the paying Martian guests and the unwilling human captives satisfied enough to keep the park running.
The loop runs on three systems the official description names directly: building human enclosures and amenities, managing staff and supply chains, and using experiments on captives to unlock new buildings and staff abilities. Abduction missions reach across historical periods, from Ancient Rome to the Wild West, and the 1.0 update added an American Prohibition enclosure type, a casino map, a full Sandbox mode and a final special character.
The 1.0 launch followed a year of Early Access. The Steam store page lists an Early Access release date of September 15, 2025, and the official announcement describes the final build arriving after three years of development plus that Early Access year, together with reworks to the park rating calculation, balance, notifications, the tutorial and performance.
